Agua Viva is an opportunity for the body of Christ to work together and provide clean drinking water to men, women, and children who live in extreme poverty. We pray and believe lives will be changed as the love of Jesus Christ is revealed through meeting their physical need.

As followers of Christ we are called to help those who cannot help themselves. "Jesus said, 'Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me'" Matthew 25:40

Supporting Agua Viva is an opportunity to put our faith into action, to be a voice for those who can't speak up, and to go out into the world to show the love of Christ. You can make a difference and provide hope for the lives of widows, orphans, and those less fortunate people in countries who have little to no hope themselves.

Our prayer is that by meeting a physical need, we will be able to share the gospel and point people to the one true Savior. Join us as we seek to provide clean water for those in need in the name of Jesus Christ. For God's namesake and His Glory!

If you would like to get involved or if you would like to schedule someone to come and speak at your church/event to learn how you can join others in this project, please email Josh at andrewsfam@charter.net

Fully Funded Well in Guatemala

God does not lack resources. Yet, in His wisdom, He chooses to move in people's hearts to release resources they are managing in order to meet the needs of people around the world. This is a beautiful picture of God's love and we want to proclaim that God has shown His love in this unique way once again.

God stirred the heart of an anonymous donor who went on a missions trip to Guatemala and saw first hand the dire need for clean water the people in that area of the world have. This servant of God understood the impact their gift would have on a village and how their gift would change the lives of generations to come.

Once a well is fully funded, Cause Life evaluates all the villages in need and makes a decision where to dig a well based on several different factors. From the funds of this anonymous donor, Cause Life chose the village of Chispan Centro, in the eastern region of Guatemala.

Please join us in worshiping God and thanking Him for reaching into dark areas of the world to bring hope and life to people in need. Ask God if He wants you to join this project and be part of bringing clean, safe drinking water to people who are in desperate need of God's love.

A New Well in Uganda

One well at a time lives are being changed and people are seeing more hope in their future. We are thankful to announce the location of our third well...a small village in Uganda!

Kakoni is a village located in the Luweero district of Uganda. It is one of many small villages across Uganda that have only polluted-water sources to offer its people. Those living here struggle under extreme poverty and frequent illness, which is due largely to the lack of proper sanitation and hygiene available to them. This new well will serve to end the cycle of hardship and give hope to the people in Kakoni. No longer will villagers have to drink from contaminated water sources.

Although we estimate it will take several months for this well to be functional, using local leaders and resources, God is already at work providing hope and dignity to the people in the Kakoni village. We will post updates and pictures of the project as they become available.

Along with this exciting news, we also want to announce that we have currently raised $5,058 towards our fourth well.  Thank you for your partnership and support as we diligently seek ways to serve others in need. If you have fund raising ideas or are able to release God's resources towards this project, please contact us at the links provided on this site.

Scripture tells us that God dwells on a high and holy place, and also with the contrite and lowly of spirit. He does this so He can revive the spirit of the lowly and the heart of the contrite (Isaiah 57:15). God is the one at work changing lives but He is asking us to choose obedience and join Him in this amazing process of providing hope to people around the world.

Thank You!

Have you heard? $4,768 has been raised towards our next well project.

WOW, what an amazing answer to prayer and a testimony to what God's people can accomplish when they allow the love of Christ to flow through them.

We are still waiting to hear where the 2nd well will be dedicated. Many of us are anxious to hear and are praying about joining a mission's team to witness another powerful dedication ceremony. Leave a comment below if you would like to join us.

One more well funded!!!

An extremely exciting thing happened as a result of the Guatemala mission trip.  An anonymous donor provided the funds to fund an entire well!!!!!!  It is so exciting to see how God is moving.
So when we start raising funds for the next well it will be well number 4!!!

Pie Auction

We recently held a pie auction at our church to raise funds for the well.  We raised $1,090 on pies alone!  And our missions committee donated $1,000 to the effort!  Praise the LORD!  We will soon have a new total in which I'm sure the next well will be fully funded!  Stayed tuned for more details and to see where God would have us place the next well.

It was a pie contest as well so here are some of our judges!

Our Mission Team was blessed to be a part of a Well dedication at El Cacao on Thursday, September 20, 2012.  It was amazing to see how joyful people were to receive clean water.  I know I have never rejoiced over water like this and it was a true blessing to see how God had provided the most basic of needs to these people through this dedication.  May God bless the people of El Cacao and our prayer is that this water will lead more people in this village to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We love because he first loved us.  If any says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.  And this commandment we have from him:  whoever loves God must also love his brother.
1 John 4:19-21 (ESV)

We just want to say thank you to everyone who has donated items for all the rummage sales we have had this summer, and to all the people who have partnered  with us in efforts to raise the funds to dig another well.  This summer so far we have raised over $3,000. from rummage sales alone.  Praise the Lord for this!  It is so cool to see Him work and provide funds for this project.  Please be in prayer for the team that will be going to Guatemala in September to dedicate the first well.
Thank you.  We will post pictures after their return.
