A deep bore well has been funded and will be dug in a village called El Cacao.
El Cacao is a small village in the central region of Guatemala. This village is one of many across this country that has only polluted water sources to offer its inhabitants. People living here struggle under extreme poverty and frequent illness, which is due largely to the lack of sanitation and hygiene available to them.

A well in this village will end the cycle of
hardship and give hope to the people living there. No longer will the
poverty stricken villagers have to drink contaminated water, nor must they
spend what little money they have buying clean water.
Praise God that we are able to be a part of helping these people receive fresh, clean water!

This picture and the one following are where the people
of the village of El Cacao are currently getting there water from. |
This is what a well looks like. |
