Agua Viva is an opportunity for the body of Christ to work together and provide clean drinking water to men, women, and children who live in extreme poverty. We pray and believe lives will be changed as the love of Jesus Christ is revealed through meeting their physical need.

As followers of Christ we are called to help those who cannot help themselves. "Jesus said, 'Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me'" Matthew 25:40

Supporting Agua Viva is an opportunity to put our faith into action, to be a voice for those who can't speak up, and to go out into the world to show the love of Christ. You can make a difference and provide hope for the lives of widows, orphans, and those less fortunate people in countries who have little to no hope themselves.

Our prayer is that by meeting a physical need, we will be able to share the gospel and point people to the one true Savior. Join us as we seek to provide clean water for those in need in the name of Jesus Christ. For God's namesake and His Glory!

If you would like to get involved or if you would like to schedule someone to come and speak at your church/event to learn how you can join others in this project, please email Josh at andrewsfam@charter.net

One more well funded!!!

An extremely exciting thing happened as a result of the Guatemala mission trip.  An anonymous donor provided the funds to fund an entire well!!!!!!  It is so exciting to see how God is moving.
So when we start raising funds for the next well it will be well number 4!!!

Pie Auction

We recently held a pie auction at our church to raise funds for the well.  We raised $1,090 on pies alone!  And our missions committee donated $1,000 to the effort!  Praise the LORD!  We will soon have a new total in which I'm sure the next well will be fully funded!  Stayed tuned for more details and to see where God would have us place the next well.

It was a pie contest as well so here are some of our judges!

Our Mission Team was blessed to be a part of a Well dedication at El Cacao on Thursday, September 20, 2012.  It was amazing to see how joyful people were to receive clean water.  I know I have never rejoiced over water like this and it was a true blessing to see how God had provided the most basic of needs to these people through this dedication.  May God bless the people of El Cacao and our prayer is that this water will lead more people in this village to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We love because he first loved us.  If any says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.  And this commandment we have from him:  whoever loves God must also love his brother.
1 John 4:19-21 (ESV)

We just want to say thank you to everyone who has donated items for all the rummage sales we have had this summer, and to all the people who have partnered  with us in efforts to raise the funds to dig another well.  This summer so far we have raised over $3,000. from rummage sales alone.  Praise the Lord for this!  It is so cool to see Him work and provide funds for this project.  Please be in prayer for the team that will be going to Guatemala in September to dedicate the first well.
Thank you.  We will post pictures after their return.

A deep bore well has been funded and will be dug in a village called El Cacao.

El Cacao is a small village in the central region of Guatemala. This village is one of many across this country that has only polluted water sources to offer its inhabitants.  People living here struggle under extreme poverty and frequent illness, which is due largely to the lack of sanitation and hygiene available to them.
A well in this village will end the cycle of hardship and give hope to the people living there.  No longer will the poverty stricken villagers have to drink contaminated water, nor must they spend what little money they have buying clean water.

Praise God that we are able to be a part of helping these people receive fresh, clean water!

This picture and the one following are where the people
of the village of El Cacao are currently getting there water from.
This is what a well looks like.

Cause life is devoted to helping raise money to dig wells in developing countries.  Our families goal in all this is to be open to God's leading and for people to see His glory through us.  Once $15,000 is raised for one deep bore well we will continue to watch God work through us by providing another and another and another....

Please join our plight in reaching out to those in need.  To make a donation please see instructions on right.
